is the sky bluer for me ´cause i was born a free man
I could get a job or education while they were born in poverty
and I draw sketches of this city, of new shops and today’s special offers
next to sleeping bags and paper in the corner on the street
then I greet hangover faces by the statue oft he fountain
and I wonder what color’s the sky they see
do we reach fort he same stars
down south they’re building a new fence
now it‘s machines building our new cars
we used to build them with our hands
and I draw sketches of this city, of new shops and today’s special offers

´cause everyday these buildings change
in daily fights we have to face our fears
as fragments of our lives get rearranged

after playing in bands like sick of silence and once tasted life and touring with them through europe and canada for a few years chris magerl decided to start a solo project and to release a debut record in 2008.
if though chris magerl can be described as an acoustic artist one can still hear his punk und hardcore influence in his music.
